 It is hard to understand why membership talks between the European Union and Turkey are progressing at such a slow pace despite the fact that Turkey is ahead of so many countries in many respects, Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves said on Friday, expressing his country's support for Turkey's EU membership.
